Thanks guys. Yes Magic, you is 100 percent korrect. The other begins with a K.
Animal Kingdom was bred by one partnership, offered for sale at Keeneland as a yearling in order to establish his value. I bid him in at $100,000, then formed a new syndicate to race him. I offered the original members the opportunity to remain as partners. I bought the rest myself and then offered it to our full client roseter, then to newcomers. He was not an instant hit, so it took me awhile to sell 95 percent of him. I have 5 percent now. Parts of the horse sold for prices of $100,000, then $160,000, then $350,000 and just before the Doiby for $2 million. My insurance man reckons his value today is between $5 and $7 million.

Agree Magic..must say this kinda thing is so exciting as we down here in lonely SA can chat to the guy who bred and owns a Kentucky Derby winner ans we now have an interest in the triple crown USA...just shows what racing websites can do
