All of the above as well as .....whatever you stake on a win bet....put 5 ( or more) times the amount on for a place (fixed odds of course).....
The only system there is...... is that "There is no system"..!!!!....

If I were honest I would tell that person not to bother. Punters the world over are mostly a bunch of wishful thinkers (myself included) The bad days by far outweigh the good ones . Suppose you can relate punting to smoking. Once you are addicted its very difficult to stop and I have seen far to many families and homes broken up because of people losing at the races. You have to have self control and its a must to only spend what you can afford and when you win, do not get greedy. Turn it up for the day or you will lose the lot.

Cannot make a million in one day.
Racing however offers the best returns- better than any bank.
place bets, swingers and the odd exacta. that's the way to go.
Antsinner will back me on the above. That my main play.
The company that I worked for decided to disinvest in 1995. I have not had a permanent job since then.
Racing makes my living mainly and I do have an import company as well. Yes financed by racing.
Oh yes I do have shared in 4 racehorses, financed by racing.

One more thing-
Treat your punting like a business and look at the returns at the end of the month.
Most important - know what you are doing and have discipline. DO NOT CHASE THE BIG ONE
Be happy with a 40% return. If you can do it daily - all the better.
