There are no exams etc! As for a body I don't know of one, but surely if you would make use of an agent you would vet him and some sort of relationship must be struck up?

Personally I have held my stable employee's liscence and my assistant trainers too.

I guess anyone can be a bloodstock agent just like anyone can be a restauranteur.....Doesn't mean he will be a successful one?

Guess, like with many other facets of life you need skill, luck and determination to succeed?

Not sure you can police such things?

A lot of trainers use a vet and also a bloodstock agent to select horses. And this combination can work very well

At the end of the day though, it is up to you entirely and what would be most beneficial and suit you best
