What's the trainers monthly fee? And does the agent get a cut from the breeder or do I have to pay for the services ?

All trainers charge a different fee and your best bet would be to enquire with the various trainers you would be interested in sending a horse to
On the agent side most agents charge a percentage of the purchase price but I can't answer for the other agents as I wouldn't know

I love it when anybody asks for a "guarantee" in respect of anything to do with horse racing.
< What guarantee are you looking for? Your money back plus interest if the horse doesn't win a Gr 1?

If you get a horse that can do all that you'd probably be selling yourself short at $50 million. There'd be book and movie rights to consider, on top of it all.

I've been through 5horses and only won one race, my beloved Miss D
This is a very hard game and if you don't understand it and have patience then owning won't be for you, the day Miss D won she relieved me of all the stress of the other 4 soup meat

I wonder if Judy Garland liked racing? She certainly expressed something of it's culture, LOL! Hey, guys, but you've got to dare to dream, otherwise life's a miserable experience.
"Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true
Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me."

I had dealings with Gareth this year and found him to be professional and trustworthy. I can recomend him.
@ Sylvester, do you own the horse called Sylvester?
@ Soodum, if you ask an agent to help you buy a horse you don't need to wait for auctions as they have clients all the time. Finding a trainer is not so easy I phoned many before I met Chris.
