The tension at Kenilworth was unbelievable.....never seen Anton as nervous as he was today....serious pressure on all afternoon.Gavins day will come and at least we will see the championship being competed for in SA only next season ,rightfully so!Well done to both guys for a superb performance right up until the last race of the season......

Morning all,
Shrek, wish that could've been the case. As Tigershark said yesterday, Lerena deserved to win but who in life always get what they truly deserve?
Put simply, Lerena was very unlucky yesterday.
My view is that losing the championship by 1 win over a 365 day period doesn't make Lerena any less of a champion than the champion himself.
He was out of the game for 6 weeks, and despite that, a broken leg, and being behind by 20+ wins, he still came back to give it his very best shot. Can anyone deny he gave it his all.
Lerena truly made his point and he can be proud of his conduct, drive and tenacity over the 2011/2012 racing season. It was evident for all to see. True professional.
So I have lost ... but I will always be a lifelong fan.
