* On Saturday, 05 May 2012 the original competition closing time was 13H00. However, due to the day/night meeting, Racing South Africa has extended the deadline to 17h00, just before the start of Race 6, the Gr.2 KRA Fillies Guineas..

* WIN if you LOSE competition for on course racing fans. All losing Tote tickets up until 16H00 on Saturday can be dropped into the lucky draw barrel that will be positioned at the Charity Turf Challenge Parade Ring Station. Just put your name and cell phone number on the back of the ticket and you will be eligible for one of 10 free entries to the competition. The draw will take place after the running of race 4.

* Payments for the competition are being logged, apologies for any delays. If you have submitted your email address with your entry, you will receive confirmation when your payment is recorded. If your payment is not yet reflected please DO NOT panic, it will be done as soon as possible.

Have there been any new additions to the List after the withdrawal of those horses?
Can we choose unlisted horses?
I was keen to include Golden Parachute after trainers comments on 1st win in PE.
Poor run from Blake the other day,so GP my Staying,Gold Cup selection if permitted.

Dear Racing Fans

We have been receiving queries about payments not being reflected as yet, please note the following:

* There is a delay with capturing payments – apologies for this!

* If you have entered before the deadline (17H00, 05 May 2012) and paid your entry is valid and payment will be reflected as soon as possible.

* If your entry is still shown as unpaid after the close (17H00, 05 May 2012) of the competition, please DO NOT panic. All payments received will be captured and reflected thereafter.

* The competition will shut done for entries at 17H00 on Saturday 05 May 2012. If you have entered before the deadline and are concerned that your payment will be late or not on time, please don’t be. We understand it’s a weekend and some transactions will take a couple of days to reflect, so please go ahead and make your deposit or EFT as long as your entry was submitted before the deadline it will be on the system and valid for the competition.

* It is a busy day for the Charity Turf Challenge Team at Greyville on Saturday, 05 May and there will be NO capturing of payments. So please DO NOT panic if you have made payment and your entry is shown as unpaid after the deadline – it will be captured and reflected thereafter as long as your entry is on the system.

* If you haven’t faxed or emailed proof of payment – DO NOT panic. All payments are also captured off Horse Racing South Africa bank statement.

* Your 13 digit ID no must be used as the reference when making payment.

Does anyone know whether Variety Club will be a contender for the remainder of this competition? After his latest win someone mentioned that he might be off to Hong Kong...

The racing manager said they are looking at options so would guess NO, but sure the compo is closed.

When will the leaderboard be put up after the first weekend of the comp?
