no umpire in the world now, before and in the future can ever be as bad Darryl Hair. He is the Bryce Lawrence of rugby and the Howard Webb of football.

I doubt it very much that this match will last the full 5 days. Come Sunday and we will either be 2 up or it will be 1-1. The bowlers will be the winners in this match.

I hope we get to bat first, hen at least all our batsmen might get a chance. It is my opinion that England bowlers are powder puff and cannot bowl us out twice.... unless it is a viper wicket... and if it is a viper ... how much will they score?

it doesnt matter wat type of pitch they prepare.they simply not in our class.if its a green pitch with plenty pace, bounce and swing for bowlers then this test will be over by sunday.i cant see the poms being competitive and i fully expect our bowlers to put there batsman to the sword with some hostile aggressive bowling and the poms will buckle under the pressure as they usually do.as for our batsman it wont be as easy as at the oval, but we bat very deep and it will be tough for there bowlers to bowl us out twice even if its a bowler friendly pitch.i expect ab ,kallis, smith, amla, duminy and co to put enough runs on board for our bowlers.
there can only be 1 winner in this test and i fully expect it to be rsa.

Magi and Winzip
the pair of you frighten me with your extreme optimism. I certainly hope that the team dont go out to play in the same mind frame as the pair of you. England will fight back so we must be very careful.

Just looking at the stats, we have comprehensively beaten England in the last 2 tests we played at Headingley and the partnership of Steyn/Morkel dominated with the ball in the last test match.

All this talk reminds me of listening to South Africans before the 2nd test in Durban, 2009 when they didn't give England a prayer and need not bother turning up... England 574-9d beat South Africa 343 & 133 by an innings and 98 runs... with the momentum all in their favour then SA do look formidable but beware the wounded 3 Lions, they are a much better team than some of those here who are seemingly more than a little blinkered in their patriotic fervour would lead you to believe. All of England's team are, at the very least, worthy test players.

Best just do a weather search on google Greg, too much to write up but looks on the cool side with plenty of cloud and light rain potential throughout. A better than usual Scumshire summer!
