Hibs... Lords is a nightmare to judge... I once went to a 1 day final Lancs-Essex... Lancs were bowled out for about 170 and I feared the worst, everyone was talking about Essex by eight wickets etc... I think they were bowled out for 57. Glenn Chapple got it going sideways. The honest answer is as many as possible because its a difficult track to judge right now, anyone who gives a figure is guessing big big time imho

Agree, not only was it not out but he reversed the decision of the umpire! As Michael Holding said you can only overrule umpire if there is clear, unequivocol evidence that he was wrong and there was no such evidence. In fact the snicko view proved that there was a lot of daylight between thumb and other glove. The third umpire got two wrong in last test both against SA, now another. What's going on?

no need to panic guys.i reckon if we can get to 250 that will be enough on this wicket to hv a 1st innings lead.remember we hv runs on the board and england must still bat so i think we are in charge of this game at the moment.i really dont expect the poms to bat well on this pitch.i predict we will win this test in 4 days.

lmao... Winzip, even if SA bowl England out for 10, SA are most definitely not in charge of this game at the moment :S8-)

Hmmm, englander my buddy, surely I don't need to remind you that a test is played over 5 days - at the Oval, England was also 'in charge' after day 1, and we all know what happened there

Just pulling your leg
, of course England SEEMS to have the upper hand at the moment - but one can never be sure until both sides have had a chance to bat

Not sure at all Frodo... see my earlier post re the Lancs-Essex match... and Glenn Chapple may be a fine bowler but he is no Dale Steyn!! The last hour has shown why England are definitely not in charge but on the other hand you could argue that the last hour has shown that the wicket is maybe better than SAs early order (with umpire assist!) made it look... its why I love test cricket and find it fascinating... only time will provide the answers
Worst of luck to SA!

The English bowlers did not do much to get us out... we did most of our own damage, with the exception of Kallis and Amla...who got a corker. We recovered well but our top order disappointing
