what a great test match and series to be honest.we are no1 now and now the hard part is staying at the top.we go to australia in november and that will be a tough series,but for now lets enjoy the moment of getting to the top.

Why buy them a case of beers when we've already given them a case of champagne??! lol That said, there were no bad decisions today, that was just your nerves playing with you Tipster!

Congratulations to SA, worthy winners over the three tests and imho, rightly top of the world poll at the moment. World class players and a very good overall unit. Great fight by England though, an afternoon of some tension! A catch here or there and Philander not being quite as brilliant as he was this test and it might have gone the other way. But, I don't think that would have been deserved, England were second best this series.

I hope England have shown though that they are not as far behind as some of you may have thought, they are a very decent side. Until the next series when you are welcome to come and join me singing with the Army... <

yes Englander i must admit england surprised me because i thought we were streets ahead of them b4 series started.England played pretty well and it was a tough series but in the end the better team won.
a few english players who i thought were disapointing which ultimately cost them.broad was not at his best and altho swann bowled well i think rsa had a plan for him and that cost england.finn was brilliant with his extra pace and prior played well.
