Was there enough evidence to convince the magistrate that it is a level 6 crime? If he feels not, OP will get bail. The defence won this bail battle hands down.

As far as i can recall Murder is the intentional taking of a human life, so by the mere fact that he fired so many shots into an area that was clearly not visible to him coupled with the fact that he has an intimate knowledge of the area he was shooting into it should be clear that his intent was to kill whoever was behind the door. The person behind the door could not see him so he was in no imminent danger. As far as being pre meditated it would appear that here also it could be called premeditated as he had intention and his actions were deliberate and by all accounts he had time to think this through before he shot. I dont belive he should get bail but i think the odds are that he will

Very good sumation - Why no warning shot? The fact that a single call alerted security to his house shows the alleged danger is only in his head!! He is a disappointment

or shout something........i have a gun and go back through the window or i will shoot!! Nothing of the sort though
