Hi Clanners, just caught up on everyone's views.
I dont know what the prosecution is thinking. Surely the big question should be, if he sleeps with his gun under the pillow and he got up to go to thebalcony to fetch the fan, he owuld have had to go back to the bed to fetch his gun which was under the pillow. He would have seen then Reeva wasnt in the bed???

Agree Mr H. Although the happenings thus far, for me, suggests he will get bail.

I think he should .. he is not a flight risk, is well known and can provide security...,My concern would be that he might harm himself once all of this sets in.

Agree with your views Mr H. I also think that his entire life he has been striving and thriving to be a winner. I also think the "winner" thing has been drilled into him since he has been a small boy.........perhaps when left to his own thoughts, he will realise that he is now a "loser".....and won't be able to live with himself...................all of this is speculation of course and he might be innocent, so this is just 1 of many thoughts that i have had over the last few days

OP claims in his affidavit that he awoke to get a fan on the balcony but sleeps with the door open, surely a guy who earns R6 million a year can afford an airconditioner... If he has aircon why did he need a fan???

Me thinks that he is talking utter gibberish. If u go to get your fan and its pitch dark, wouldnt u put on the lights?
If his girlfriend went to the toilet and its inside the bathroom, wouldnt she put on the light, since it was "PITCH DARK"?
If she did go into the bathroom, and he alleges that he called out her name to call the cops, wouldnt she respond to him saying she is in the bathroom?
In my home, even if u close the bathroom door and the light is on in the bathroom, it no longer becomes "PITCH DARK", maybe his door is sealed to the tiles, hence no light comes through?
Whatever the case is, if some is locked in the bathroom, he or she poses no immediate danger to you, so you then killing somebody in cold blood. Is that not murder?

@Daverckr0
'In my home, even if u close the bathroom door and the light is on in the bathroom, it no longer becomes "PITCH DARK", maybe his door is sealed to the tiles, hence no light comes through?'
simple... if disputed!
Go back at 3am to the place and see what is the extent of 'darkness' in the entire house.
Also confirm with neighbours'security if certain lights are not left on at night. Security chaps must be doing their rounds; they probably can confrim darkness or light!
Lotsa gaps!!
