Agreed, it's far from the beginning of all to come... I hear now Hilton Botha has been removed from the case.

I realise that all the evidence has probably not been presented yet (until the trial) - but at this stage it seems unlikeky to me that the state will be able to prove their case BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT

Correct Umlilo!...either way its murder surely?..you can't just go around shooting people killing them, saying it was a mistake and get off surely?

Hate posting about topics like this. What a waste of precious lives...Steenkamp's and Oscar's. Both had such bright futures ahead of them.

Even if Oscar is found innocent, things will never be the same for him again (OJ Simpson).

My very humble opinion on this...Oscar is either very stupid, or, very guilty.

I'm with you .........particularly if they try to prove the pre-planning thing!
I suspect that this hearing may give the prosecution better direction.......they may benefit from such a strong case for bail.!!

From the amount of times the victim was hit it appears that the toilet area was very small... if that is the case it is reasonable to assume that if you shot into that s[pace you could seriously injure or kill someone. Shooting through a closed door and hitting your target every time(according to the hit count) would mean there was very little chance of avoiding the bullets. There is zero chance of saying you were defending yourself against an unseen assailant when you fire not once but three times(or four) into that space. You don't ever fire a warning shot? Maybe culpable homicideis an option but he shows intent to kill by firing so many times without as much as an angry word from the "burglar" let alone a real threat of danger. I back the state to convict

Pitch Dark - yet could find his gun easy enough >:D<
Got up with Gun in hand, went to Balcony, used burglar excuse to get her to Bathroom, lock herself in the toilet...
Door being locked to me is the brow raiser,
That's my thoughts... methinks premeditated...

However lets see what the trail brings of this all, as there can be many scenarios...

Just a pity we couldn't get the victims input in this whole thing...

They way things have gone, i think they should just give OP bail, let him hand in his passport and lets get on with it. There is a point where the wasting of taxpayer's money becomes ridiculous.
