I see it exactly the same way. Study your form and play the P6 in the same way as you would do the Jackpot.
If a "spook coupling" does arrive, then bad luck.
BTW... I also agree with the comments made by 2 Cents.

May just force me to start studying form again instead of cursory glances .... may well end up being some decent paydays....Although I do fully expect the P6 pool to drop by 20% on average.

I battle to get a money on shot winning so the thought of picking 6 winners in one meeting has never appealed to me unless we race at the box and we have a share in a big perm for a bit fun ( probably once a year )

,All the p6 punters, big or small must stay away from taking their bets for one month and just see what happens because end of the day we are the sardines for the sharks,if you know what i mean

Interestingly enough the JACKPOT pools seemed to have increased with no couplings.....food for thought?

It is with this type of logic that they are f@cking around with the P6........I know many players that hardly ever play P6 but only concentrate on the Jackpot .....they way cards are structured the 1st and last legs of the P6
are generally comprised of weak or poor form maiden plates......and do not have the good types.....the meaty part of the card the features and handicaps are in the JP......and thus the appeal for players.....more often than most if there is an upset in the 1st leg players then invest in the JP which caused this bet to grow.....P6 Idon't think so.....:

I do not often disagree with you, but in this case I do; although catching 'big money' for 'small money' may be part of the dream, for me personally if I wanted to achieve that, I would play the lotto. The cost of a 'realistic' P6 perm when needing to include couplings, would make it impractical for the 'smaller player' imo.
I would rather spend R100 giving me a 10% chance of winning R1000, than spending R1000 with a 1% chance of winning R10,000 - but that's just me.

I am looking forward because bigger payout will be on the order of the day,, would like to have 1% of R3m or bigger pool
this is how i will structure my bet, load the first legs, go light next three legs incl 1 or 2 bankers and field x field last two if i survive first 4 legs will not have to worry about last 2 legs. .

Why do you feel the need to increase your stake?
Why not invest the same amount for a lesser %?

A lot of the small punters only invest R6 for a 1% stake now for the P6.............now they potentially HAVE to up their stake to still get the 1% and they dont have the extra, as they also play small % tickets in the PA and Jpt. The guys i have spoken to are going to rather invest the little extra in the PA and Jpt going forward. I know this seems silly, but more the reality for the R6 punter................who is deemed the lifeblood of racing in SA by Vee

it's obvious the people who have plenty money like the idea of no couplings
