I have spoken to a lot of punters..................most of them will no longer play the pick 6.
I will now be a R10 pick6 player
I will now be a R10 pick6 player

Vee "Mr Racing" Moodley is f______ up punting, who is going to afford to include all couplings etc, maybe his exclusive punters at Turfontein, the average punter will be driven away from the P6. Do they have as many bet options around the world as we do in SA ???

what were the pools like when we didnt have couplings and or fractional betting?the new p6 has to be given a chance by punters and with the bigger yards having more and more runners in each and every race i think its a good thing.

.....did a bit of a survey myself....the smaller players I chatted to may give it up and invest more in JP and PA.....the bigger fish say it suits them as they will get bigger payouts.....maybe no....as if the pools shrink they get exactly what they were getting with couplings.....I have started reducing my stake and have caught a few at single % with less layout.....will only play on days if I fancy or see a dog in a coupling that appeals to me......:

Simple answer, the big players will get richer and the small player will look elsewhere. More carry overs will give the big players more chance .In a year the pack six pools will be smaller than today, only my guess

I thought the smaller % players chase the dream of collecting 'big money' for 'small money'.....now they all supposedly running away when this change suits their style of play. Hard to believe

Maybe now the runner that's better "handicapped" in the coupling will win the race, like it should be, and you don't get these shockers anymore, but if we still get those.........$$$$(

100%....The whole reason couplings were allowed...but fark...3 steps backwards and 1 step forward......
and those in the know can be the farrier, the groom, my aunt George....anyone who can zip the more fancied runner....
Like my ol man used to say...it's easier to lose a race than to win a race....:)o

the jackpot comprises of 4 legs which are also part of the pick 6 and the removal of couplings has seen the pools shoot up big time so why the big moans all of a sudden when its an extra 2 legs and you have fractional betting to help..plus currently the first timer rule doesnt apply in the jackpot but it does in the pick 6 for now :S
