So if you were not talking from your pocket then clearly you are just clueless...which is backed up by the fact that you cant see anything libelous in accusing people of defrauding the public...this game is clearly not for you, i hear that they offer free coffee at the Casinos...

The one difference with a 10c unit and a Rand unit is that if for a 10c unit you are the only ticket left you scoop the whole say R800,000-00 pool, if you look 10% in a R1 unit you would win R80,000-00 as you only have 10% of the pool and the remaining 90% gets carried over.

Spot on, the more carryovers they get during the week the bigger the Pick 6 pools over the weekend.

My argument to that is those who take 1% perms now would take 10% perms for the same outlay but would surely be betting into a smaller perm as those who take a full ticket would continue to do so for less invested??

When I do a Pick 6 I usually take it for around the same value regardless of the %, I would imagine plenty others do the same as that is the budget they choose to play. The player who plays 1% in a R1 pool would at a 10c unit have a chance of winning 10% of the pool.

surely it all just relevent to your bank / budget?

if you punt r1 or 10c the payout is the same odds?

Hibs if you play 10% of the current Pick 6 and you have the only ticket you would only win 10% of the pool if you had a full ticket on a 10c for the same price you would win the whole pool. It would only make a difference in a current carryover situation.

Titch don't understand why the Pick 6 pool would be smaller if everyone is playing the same amount? Watch out for big drops in the PE and Kimberly pools. If P were clever they would keep the carryovers at these venues to ensure interest in the Pick 6.

Players that play say 2 bankers and load the rest of the fields will still take up to a full unit or less but very seldom will they take a big perm times...that will have to result in smaller pools
