Yes he needed it more than we thought. soft on him going into the race as we did not want to injure him before he ran and then missed work during the rain.
He gave the winner 4kgs, the 2nd 7kgs and the 3rd 3.5kgs. All I want is to see him sound tomorrow and I will be happy as I know now how much he will come along from this. Owners happy and that is what counts.

Gazza, not the fault of the course. The finish is up hill and if you not 100% fit it will catch you out.

the winner was 4.5kg the 2nd horse 3.5kg and the 3rd horse 8kg all under sufferance with ffc...if it was a hcap the distances would have been far bigger so i dont understand your point?
