Watch Muzi's ride on Flo something in the last at Kimberley on Monday.... 60 days should be an odds on bet.
Is laughabl that they give Bling two months when is first 'incited' offence, and yet it goes on constantly in all centers

in this modern era it is wrong to prevent an athlete or any person from earning a salary from there chosen sport. a better solution would be allow the jockey to ride but impose a fine relative to what they earn in the 60 period .
this 60 day period or any period longer than 2 weeks have long term damage to the jockey.
stables find other riders , get comfortable with the new rider and when the suspended jock comes back to race riding he battles to find the same quality or quantity of rides they had before the suspension.
they already ride with the ever present danger of serious injury why now punish them further.

Carl Burger who owns the horse tells me that the horse is well named and is impossible to asses can be an absolute pig and is a terrible ride but if he puts his mind to it will beat anything in Kim over ground....it cost Muzi almost 4,5K to get to Kim, he wont be giving anything a miss...

"Jockey Khumalo has the right of appeal against both the finding and the penalty imposed". Does this mean if he appeals, his sentence can be reduced?

It can be but it can also be increased, which in this instance seems very unlikely, there is also a chance that some of the sentence can be suspended or a fine imposed...

Money being stolen from the people that in the end pay his wages is also ridiculous , things like the bling ride and the ride at Kenilworth a year or two ago is the reason punters are switching to sports betting
