Agree with with regulations and cleaner game.
Also agree with statement about "action and still not happy"
My point is if this ride is going to be used as a precedent, for future jockey suspensions, then I am all for it.
However, there have been so many rides by other jockeys in the past that should have been used as a precedent.
So why choose this particular ride.
What about The rides of KIng Karl, Marco V Rensburg, Fradd, Marcus etc.... Do the stripes analyse/scrutines these jockeys rides so closely as well.
I very much doubt it.
Something about this penalty does not seem right.

Maybe the nhra who are in the pockets of the operators realised that the support
base of the uneducated masses is dwindling and they need to show something
or carry on being laughed at by the future of racing ie punters who
wnt take their shit and want a fair product

or as i asked do they have some other evidence?
pure speculation here but lets say they have a text stating "will give it a miss" its not clear of intent but maybe sufficient to give the 60 days....
Over here (uk) they have taken these guys to court and divulged what was found.
Speculation is a problem, they (nha) should let the masses know exactly what their findings are (if any) or is it (as i said) some ones judgement and opinion?

Watched the race and if there are real cheats out there they will be laughing at the ride they've chosen for their apparent hardline approach. In court judge would likely throw it out in first 5 minuted cos "slight stumble" is actually 2 stumbles that causes him to look behind twice.

So are you actually trying to say that the rider thought something was wrong with his mount? That's why he looked behind? He then proceeds to sit motionless on the horse at the back of the field until the closing stages where he then gently urges this horse(that he may or may not have thought was injured) to run- The horse takes off and passes most of the field over the last 400m - Now if he was concerned for the horses welfare why did he allow the horse to run on and not pull it out of the race? Why did he not report that the horse was feeling something? Why did the vet nogt find something wrong with the horse? And why on earth did he not plead "not guilty"? The stipes finally make a ruling and now they are wrong because they are :
a- Trying to stop a man from earning a living
b- want to try to stop him from winning a title (is it because he's black)
c- are blind and decided to make up something because they need to earn a salarty
d- don't give him a fine but rather suspend him
e- are part of the CIA and had a big bet on his horse
They made a ruling and if they were wrong then let the rider bring representation to the appeal and overturn that. I give the stipes flak for many things but in this case I support them 100% as that horse could easily have finished 2nd, 3rd, or 4th if the rider had ridden in his usual vigorous manner over the last 500m.
As to the other jockeys I think many will now think twice about giving a horse an educational run with the possibility of a few months suspension on the cards

Mr Hawaii, only the law counts in court and I am sure the law requires the prosecutor to present the facts correctly. That was not a slight stumble. Furthermore any amount of knowledgeable racing people could then be witness to the fact that rushing a horse up to the pack after a slow start is the best way to ensure it does not place. Lastly there looked nothing wrong with the vigour of his finish he looks to have been hampered late which likley cost him a place. It would be good if they started clamping down on easys but imo they've chosen the wrong example completely.

I also re-watched the race and the horse clearly stumbled twice. Smanga should appeal this sentence.

What is required is sensible consistent regulation...............no sign of that yet.............over zealous reaction is harmful!
