Point Taken Bob, you seem to be missing the point of this topic though.
Do not INTENTIONALLY mislead the public...for your own gain.
You could shut the F up , you could speak the truth(lol), but hell dont lie....apparently lots of ABC members dont have a problem with being lied to....are you one of them Bob?

Nobody lied,he just did not give the full picture when interviewed earlier
in the week by vicky.

LG you say us ppl who entered the game yesterday still got a lot to learn,
it's us younger generation who are the needed in this game, not the old timers
,lovely way to introduce new ppl to racing

Rule 1 :don't listen when jockeys talk they know f all

Rule 2: the owners pay the bills so even tho you as the punter fund racing
you are not entitled to a transparent sport where the playing fields are equal,
shut the fuck up and go sit in a filthy tote and give us your money ffs

Rule 3 : ffs you idiot follow the betting ,bookies don't play games and shorten
horses to mislead the public lmao

Rule4: you are a tech savy bastard,go onto the many websites where we have
tons of info available to the punter provided by our world class racing journos!
Hong Kong got nothing on us lmao again

Ffs louis g you right

As far as I know, nobody lied. Also, how many times do Telly track interview all connections ? Did they talk to Craig Mayhew on thursday at Vaal ? He fancied his horse at long odds !

I just want to know when it became mandatory for Owners to buy horses, pay years of keep and then take a reduction on the price due to being obligated to tell the public in advance when fancied?

Piere Strydom must be the biggest liar of all jocks, then, as he very seldom tips himself.... He cites the exposed form and the dangers.

And how many interviews give you punting confidence? How many outright winners are tipped ?

I am planning a betting coup quite soon. Please don't expect it to be broadcast on tellytrack. Watch the betting.....because, on the morning of the race, I will check temperature, leavings and will take a blood and run the PCV first.....

If you are planning a betting coup does that mean that the horse has been
given a few easy rides, run over wrong distances, held bk to drop the merit rating?

I dunno how else one can pull off a betting coup lol

Anyway hope you hit them properly

if I recall mj said to vm during the week that he would be disappointed if the horse didn't finish in the top 3...that's good enough for me that the stable fancy it...the winning interview mj should never have said what he did because its no good for the current punters to hear that and definitely no good to try and attract new customers into the game...its a first timer we have zero barrier trials and apart from a few television interviews the public is in the dark..it was also the 1st leg of the bipot ....as far as following the money on first timers this countrys bookmakers are not the bravest and will shorten horses with very little money on and when it comes to first timers well its a complete joke ..should the punters suffer because we haven't got bookmakers with balls?...just one more question was this horse in question owned by Derek brugman or mr and mrs jooste?lg im surprized at some of your comments as you are a shining light when it comes to informing punters on the chances and more importantly the wellbeing of your horses....

perception in branding is everything. If the perception is that racing is crooked, yesterday's expression at race 2 reinforced that. It's not a perception. Its the truth and insiders admitted to the fact that they practice insider trading, on TV. Insider trading is illegal, just like cartels, price fixing etc. This has to stop.

You cannot create and expand a market like this. Punters are the lifeblood of racing, racing derives its income from Punters, there has to be a fair flow of information and integrity, in systems. Otherwise trust won't happen and they will shop elsewhere.

It is a shame that some people in the inside of the circle (Louis G, I'm pointing a finger at you) fail to understand this and continue to hang on to their beliefs of entitlement, to the detriment of the sport.

MJ did not lie, Don ! Can u grasp that ?

Secondly, there is a time for most horses when they are cherry ripe and when they are not. Nobody is pulling any horse up. Sometimes a combo of an unsuitable programme and the horse not being in his/her cherry ripe stage, creates very average or below average performance. A good horseman identifies this and will then back his horse when the circumstances change.

I am very transparent and always try to help punters. I still do that, but am getting a little weary of being cross examined or sworn at when we get beat and generally being treated as a "suspect" when the longer priced ones win. The best that I hear all the time is how the punters create turnovers that pay my living.... And yet the biggest mouths are the supporters of the Open bet and bookies and don't contribute to the tote anyway.

The point is that I am entitled also, to the same "holy rights" as all punters. When I or the Owner or anybody puts money on a horse, that is called punting and that makes us punters too.
After we have had a bet and I get asked if it's stable money, I will say yes. I just don't have the intellectual capacity to grasp the posts which declare that I must first tell all punters and that I or my Owners do not have a right to back our horses first and that we "owe" punters.
