Well of course if you watched the July you would think that Marinaresco would have no chance in an 1800m race...He was ridden like that because it was a 2200m race! :lol: ...and if you listened to GVN pre race he said he'll be dropped out as he didn't want to make it hard for the horse on his first run here.
No reason why he can't race handy too IMO, winter classic anyone? Anyway, he can sit 16,17 lengths off them again and as long as he shows the same turn of foot as in the July, he'll win.
As for Abashiri debate, I'd favour Abashiri over the mile, but anything further I say Marinaresco will beat him.

Mambo mime has to be my best e/w value bet here and at a fantastic price........have a bet , Go and watch the reply of the July and you will see that Mambo mime was also finishing strongly, was bumped by Bela Bela at a crucial time , guaranteed would have finished in the top 4 for sure?? , I will be getting my my July investment back and more and the told you so...?....
