If you are looking at backing either of Al Sahem or Edict of Nantes I recon you could well get good value on the tote. The pool is normally huge and a decent amount of the pool is made up of the once a year punter who is not looking at a 5/1 bet. The July Favorites usual pays well on the tote because of this and due to the size of the pool even a large bet will have little significance on the price.
