A step in the right direction. Great stuff ,from a Punters perspective.
@Easy and others in his camp, good luck wherever you go. Won't be missed .

Sealegs don't talk shit..... every person that walks away will be missed and is missed.
I wonder of i had 300 horses in KZN if you would treat me with such contempt.
owners and breeders numbers are getting LOWER not higher

Easy,it's not a question of either or, its always about AND. AND Formgrids needs to be fixed. AND free flow of relevant information to Punters. AND AND AND not OR. Unfortunately everything that is ill cannot be fixed at the same time, but eventually it will be fixed.

The point being made about trials is twofold:
1. unraced horses are given a public viewing, AND experience under real race conditions
2. there be no betting on trials so there is no chance of anyone making an unfair win at the obvious cost of others (blind spot, public perception damage)
as for info dissemination to Joe Public = the results to be published in the same way as any other race ie newspaper fields etc, on Formgrids, Computaform.

Don
I agree.
however if we compare it to a porno we have to start with the Director and work our way downwards past the sound guy and visuals , past the actors and actresses and eventually fix the fluffers.....
NOT start with the fluff and then stop.
There are far greater issues pertaining to loss of faith by punters than this bullshit.
you you are correct its not one or the other BUT can we at least know how
co mingling works exactly

I would rather a trainer says nothing prior to a race than talk shit just for the sake of saying something, eg my horse will need the run, i think that he will need further, this is a prep run.

@Easy. ...People that walk away for valid reasons are definitely a cause for concern.
People that do so for selfish reasons, at the expense of the majority, deserve nothing in my books.
Your attitude, in this case , symbolizes much of what is wrong in horse racing ie people intent on manipulating or withholding information for self enrichment.

Another thought has just entered my mind. Surely now Gold Circle will allow betting exchanges to be legal.
After all with all this knowledge punters will have and with bookmakers closing their accounts because they keep winning punters need an outlet to bet?
