How can a team lose from that position. Needing 4.5 RPO Kallis goes for a slog over midwicket, Duminy tries to slog a straigh one and the Du Plessis, what on earth were you thinking, Jonty with jet shoes could never had run a single there. De Villiers would have seen us home and can't blame the bowlers they did their job with the ball but poor batting display.

In 5 knock out games in World Cups we have lost all 5, pathetic. Smith said before the game they need to be sensible not sensational, well then what was that.

I don't deny that he is a great batsman. However tonight you could see him losing patience when he became bogged down and it was just a matter of time before he went out. He was unable to grit it out. Therefore he choked. The only other possibility is that he has a low IQ.

i think we should have followed the way ryder batted and not try and play the big shots...our senior batsman didnt take responsibility unfortunately...it looks like and all subcontinent final....nagboy i am also a big fan of kallis but he doesnt seem to win sa the big matches...he has never scored a century in a world cup tourney but ponting and sachin have scored 5 or 6 each

Seriously now, should we not get someone with WINNING MENTALITY to coach our boys, Steve Waugh comes to mind...

Nagboy no one questions what a great cricketer Kallis is but lets be honest it is pretty well know that Kallis is ot the sharpest knife on the rack.

Greg. wouldn't mind Gary Kirsten as coach, done brilliant things with India and Dhoni & Co speak about him in the highest regard.

dont believe its the coach maybe we just not good enough and we find it hard to accept
