I just wish Scotland could play rugby and cricket the same as SA, over the years I have been used to accepting a small loss as a celebration.....................and SA has a great sporting nation and at times I think you are over critical or maybe used to being the best?
chill guys many good times ahead

I presume you are a genius Tipster? You are blaming the whole defeat on Kallis when all of Smith, Duminy and De Villiers dismissals were worse shots or decisions.

I think we went in too confidently and did not grind out the win we should have but that is sport and you cant win all the time although we try. I agree with Tipster that his dismissal and also De Villiers run out the turning points but also remember not many of us have been in their position and looked like tried to win too quickly. Anyway as I always say no one died and we live to play again. Who do we support now though?

Nagboy, FYI read the below story related by England's Marcus Trescothick.
Now we are back at sea level in Port Elizabeth, with the coast clearly visible from our hotel. There is an old story that during a particularly tough South African training session, which involved runs along the beach, Jacques Kallis remarked that the altitude must be high because his lungs felt like they were burning. It sounds more like the kind of thing we are used to hearing from Darren Gough.
It's easy to sit in an armchair and criticise, but what Kallis did tonight was unforgiveable and indefensible. That it came in the known tough overs before the new ball makes it worse.

Duncan Flethcer is sat twiddling his thumbs on the periphery of the squad whilst Corrie "who" is in charge. SA are not a team but a bunch of individuals looking at and playing for stats. In 1992 when they played that great West Indian side in Barbados and had 7 wickets in hand to score a handful of runs on the final day they chocked and lost. They have never recovered.
