graft as i have always understood it is when a few competitors in one race have grafted together to make one horse a good thing, that's my interpretation of the word, whats yours?

You fancy your horse bet it as soon as the betting comes out so you got your price. After that tell it like it is and everyone will be happy. Why is louie the only trainer all worked up about this topic?Louie you need to remember one thing and that is without the punter horse racing will NOT carry on so watch who you call idiots and show some respect to the people who are keeping you in a job.

No2son told me a story on Saturday night
He walked into a bookie years and years ago and was asked what he liked ( good judge )
He said nothing but there is one with a small place chance from a good draw it's 33/1( this was 10am)
He went back in about 12 and do and so and so and so says there is a wire from London, you must take 33/1 it can't get beat..
No2sons fancy pissed in and the North of Edinburgh bookies got wiped out
That's how most graft starts

LG, all due respect, that is not what people are saying imho. You are talking about potentially 1000s of different people calling you, of course no-one would want that. But, providing info as you do, perfect, the question is why others can't do the same as you do.

Roy Curling a famous jockey once told me he paid every jockey in the jockey room except one who watched the whole process, the one he never paid duly beat him, when the winning jockey was pulling up after the race he shouted to Curling, "Uncle Roy,Uncle Roy you should have paid me too", to which Curling Shouted back, "Ampie you were the graft"
now thats graft
now thats graft
