Would Marcus Jooste want the information on his runners to be completely transparent for the public or not ?
While you're answering that : Did the jockey admit on TV he downplayed the strength of the horse so Mr Brugman could have a punt ?
Also : How big is a claim on a first timer ? (seeing as though you are telling us to follow the claims)
I guess a bully doesn't answer questions he doesn't like.

Guys, I know this can be an "emotional" topic etc but please, is there any reason for words like idiots, bullies and whatever else. This is a discussion for the betterment of SA racing and SA racing certainly gets no better when we can't just have a civil debate on something. At no-one in particular (apologies it came straight after your post Ruffian), tis for all. Just keep calm and say what you think
Hmmmm, maybe I could do a t-shirt with that as the logo

Ruffian, why go there bud, what good does it do you or anyone else? I guarantee you the vast majority of clanners come to their own opinions on people without others reacting. Whoever may be calling or reacting here, I do not know, I just tire of trying to discuss something while all the while insults are being thrown. I understand, honestly, but please try and go past it... feel a bit like someone from the Salvation Army saying that!

Greg, sure you could make yourself one very similar... then just stand infront of a mirror

Once again, those who have absolutely no right to demand, have taken things too far. TML with all due respect what gives you the right to phone trainers and ask for information you have no right to receive? Why do you feel you should have access to this info before the people that pay the bills have had a bet? And some idiots claim that because they are punters, they now have a divine right to receive this stable info? Louisg, the Shams and Craig Eudey often post what they fancy. Why should any of these guys be abused in the way that Louisg has been in this thread. Once again I tell the so dumb crowd, racing owes you nothing if you dont like it go to the casinos, racing will survive just as it has for centuries without your "custom".
Really I can't believe some of the absolute shit I am reading. TML do me a favour phone Ormond Ferraris and ask him for graft. You will get the response Louisg should have given you in the first place.

Nice try, but you are very hard of reading Durbs. Very consistent too, in that you will never let the facts get in the way of a good story.

I will never said I would phone a trainer, I said there should be more transparency and trainers should follow what these guys are doing, I never had a dig at their practices. But please continue and tell people to go to the casinos because they listening to you on that one, I hope you have the bank balance to conpensate for all the punters you pushing away from the sport.
Horse racing owes punters everything unfortunately, there's no horse racing without them so rather than continue ranting and refusing change maybe think that something new to give punters more info might actually be beneficial to the sport.

TML my sincere apologies I incorrectly accredited you for the phone call to Louisg when it should have been directed towards Racing Guru.
Many people leave the game for very different reasons. It survives without them like it will survive without the latest crew who "demand" transparency. As for me, I have said before I am very happy punting overseas, whilst closing local operations will be sad, it will not overly concern me. Im in this for the punt not for the beauty of horses. I am not embarrassed to admit to that. A winning UK bet is just as sweet as a local one so really, please guys lets be real about this.
