I make this a two horse race between Arpad and A Greater Power.
I might elaborate later but that could prove difficult as my reasoning, well i suppose its facts rather then logic,is based on times
I am interested --- How do you get A Greater Power based on speed?
see you gone for the same two, lets hope they come 1-2
09.22 1450m 86.88 almost two secs faster then Querari Viking
10.08 1450m R5,6,7,8 all over same distance,have a look
11 05 1400m faded badly against a horse he beat convincingly in the maidens but in a fair time in comparision to R8 bold viking roys magic orapa side soe tendre
05 28 coming back to best compare times to R8
07 01 Similar time to Arpad but at a weight disadvantage today but the stable could have a line with Pachuco
And then other runners
Equator too short
Gasoline disappointing
Sputnik Plain not impressed when comparing times
Aquabuoy the bizjet run suggests he will struggle but Pierre gets on and sure he won on Arpad
Huhi likewise when beaten by Querari Viking and Urban Myth
Lisnoble a nagger
Tom Fool could be short and the run to inn a million, not my fav jock
Shortstop beaten by topweight but now carries just 53 could surprise
big weight but has dropped in rating and now in a 66
Yes, but speed wasn't my reason. A Greater Power had a very nice juvenile career. The connections must have really thought highly of that one - if you look at the races in which he was entered to run. None of that panned out , and they subsequently lowered their expectations with each nomination. The horse has now been rested and it looks like back to the drawing board - making it;s re-appearance at a lowly R70k race where it might be able to show off some of whatever the connections are seeing. Is rested though, and currently the markket doesn't suggest it's fit and ready to roll.

my pa for the card R162
3]/[7]/[5, 9, 10]/[1, 7]/[1, 5, 8]/[2, 3, 7]/[1, 3, 8]
3]/[7]/[5, 9, 10]/[1, 7]/[1, 5, 8]/[2, 3, 7]/[1, 3, 8]
The best horse doesn't always win the race.

Stiff there Kreezy - I was expecting a peak run, although peak at this stage was looking to carry it into a place.

Thats how i saw the beginning of his career and then did the rtr and dingaans but obviously i am wrong when i say that our starting point in most previews should be that the horse is fit otherwise it becomes difficult,
When the race is run then maybe see what was missed

LOL - I wouldn't say wrong - we should be able to expect that the horse is fit

With Distant Call home -- perhaps one could count on getting one out of 2 from Kings Country and New Zealand, maybe both return. But i am so dubious of this card - thinking it might be better to just bank the very small numbers on Distant Call and sit out the rest.
