Looking at the lack of NON western cape trainers represented in the fields (20 million in stake on offer for the day.) i draw two conclusions

1. WC horses are way superior to the rest of the country.
2. Trainers are not hungry or motivated enough to travel for their patrons.

I suggest you get your facts straight before you make a fool of yourself - firstly this is not the Majorca, this is the Derby - secondly I'm not sure on what you base your OPINION that she is 'a 2400+' :huh:

Imo, running a few lengths behind Oh Susanna in the Paddock Stakes earning a rating of 100+, she looks more than capable of deposing of these males, none of which have earned a rating of close to 100 - and she gets 2.5 kgs from them - @ 12's still the bet of the day

so you saying he listened to you and entered her in the Derby because of some advantage she would not have had she raced in trhe Majorca and all i am saying is she would not win the Majorca against these rivals simply because the distance application is wrong

I tipped her in the recent comp so watched her every move and totally lost until the race was practically done with

Nope - I think it is quite clear that you misread Frodo's post and are now back tracking because you made a fool of yourself. Bob had already posted the final Majorca field at least an hour before Frodo's comment so best you tap out on this one and move on.

All cool mydada - so just try to be clear in your remarks next time - I do understand now that you meant that the reason for running her in the Derby is because the Majorca is too short - and I agree with you - but imo not the only reason - the fact that she is so well in (in the Derby) as opposed to the Majorca has surely also played a part in the decision - anyway she is in the right race and will be a big runner imo
