if we are looking for a spook in the race, and if it is back to his best then it's got to be Eyes Wide Open for me, maybe PeterD can give us some insite into whether eyes wide open is back to its best, when it beat DIA over 2000m at Kenilworth by 1.75 length

I think those days we had some 'strange' results as it was not a WFA race - these days things look much more straight-forward - but I agree about the Plattner coupling - I suspect Kampala Campari is in the race to ensure a decent pace (they made a fall-back plan should Milton not run) - anyway we will see next Saturday
When Martial Eagle won, the race was a WFA with penalties. Grade 1 winners carried 2kgs more.
