dave was roy keanes gripe not about the organisation and world cup preparation of Ireland? I spoke to Dennis Irwin, when he was in DURBAN working for MTN , covering the United- Everton 4-4 game and he said that playing for Ireland was comical at times. He told a great story about Paul Mcgrath and the 1994 World Cup where Italy and Ireland lined up in the tunnel with similar strips, but said KEANE was the best player he ever played with!
while they were both arrogant on the pitch Keane was all about winning not personal glory.

Just hoping that people think England will get thrashed as badly today as has been predicted for the previous two one-dayers... it seems to work well for The Land

The Proteas bowling attack has no teeth.... well certainly on Sunday they were gnashing their gums...and so was I. McClaren... which selectors relative is he? Faf Du plessiss .... give me a break ... what happened to young Levi ? Bring back Tsolikile (sp?) and get De Villiers back in open play where he is worth 15 saved runs before he bats... Elgar ...jury out here...
I believe we will win this afternoon but only if we chase.

recent 1-day international history at Trent Bridge does seem to favour the team batting second... don't know how many of those were under lights though.

i think we hv a better balanced team with the extra batsman and imo ontong has a bit of class abt him so i fully expect the proteas to chase down any total england set.i just hope the english fans get to see a bit of the real AB in full flight because very few hv his ability with the bat and he makes this game look so easy wen he is on form.

Saw AB in one of the IPL matches take on Steyn to win the match for his side. Pretty? Hardly ... he took his teammate apart and left all the pieces lying around. I've never seen that happen to Steyn the Remover quite so decisively.
