Warren you know Racing has been sunk because people will not communicate - why do you need a non-disclosure if you have a monopoly? Will your Non-existent competition suddenly start putting up races on non-existing racecourses with phantom horses? I have always believed that talking to punters, owners trainers etc is the correct way to go but it seems that too many with power suffer from economic paranoia .

Sorry they have been the incorrect words to use. Well maybe it is time to wake up and communicate we live in an open environment . That's the problem no body talk as billions in stakes .

we talk but the others don't - they want control over the game but the more they hide the more punters move to other bets

In last weekends issue of SPORTING POST there was an article called DOING THE SPLITS!

It was about the Sectional times of the leaders of every race over 2000m run on the 25th March. I was very very dissapointed to see that rubbish,I sincerely hope that that is not the way they will be doing it when or IF they actually will launch it. Those clowns put down markers(timers) on the 1180m, 700m, 400m, and FINISH !!! So its giving out recordings of the horses running 1st...920m, than 480m, 300m and than 400m again. I know they are still 'testing' it...but really, having markers(timers) at so many different locations is idiotic and plain stupid!!! It will make it very difficult to use correctly. In HK they use 400m between markers same as UK(they also have markers every 200m)!!! If y'all don't know how...check the HKJC website...everything will be so much easier if the markers are spaced evenly. Unless of oz there are things obstructing your path????Trying to save money????

Lastly...to the guy that posted the article...you made a mistake below the splits...with the names of GR 2 COLORADO S. and STONEHENGE. But also thanks for posting it.

It makes it clear that BELLE ROSE and LEE'S PICK both ran smashing races and should be followed closely in their next starts along with Alaadel over shorter(1600m)!

Here's hoping we get it soon(hopefully by end of the year, lol)

Heinrich, you have got it all wrong. In the absence of the long promised official sectional timing, my understanding is that SP use the available race video, hand timing and whatever visible markers they can pick up from the video.
Their analysis is excellent, given the rudimentary data they are able to access.
The operators are, however, guilty of sustained lack of delivery of this necessary info, and their lack of action and pathetic excuses are laughable.

Thanks PeterD. I thought it was from the 'testing runs' the writer used. Nothing wrong with that and the write up they did,I was just pointing out the mistake. Thanks for letting me know thou.

The question that I would be asking is who has had access to all the sectional timing data? Why is it not already available for the punting public to look at, albeit with a "testing still in progress" warning. If anyone who is a punter has access to that information - Larry Wainstein is the perfect example - that individual has a potentially massive advantage over those of us that dont have it. I believe that every owner should demand that they receive the information as well as the horse is really their property not the operators.
