Hollywood not paying out a WINNING bet

Not on and not fair to punters

In the match earlier between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers a bet was placed for the 1st ball of the match to be 4 runs.

The first ball was bowled and clipped down the lwg wuth pad gor 4 leg byes. Now the bet did NOT state that legbyes are not allowed, it simply stated the options of No Run, 1 run, 2 runs, 3 runs, 4 runs, wide, wicket, etc

Clearly this is a technical matter but fact is still that 4 runs was scored with the first ball of the match, EXACTLY what my betting ticket states hence this should be a winning bet, on technicality or not after 1 ball bowled in the match the score was still 4 RUNS

Hi Loopy
It is very clear there is an option for "Bye or Leg Bye"!
See the screen shots below (I have asked Bob to post):
It shows both the market you bet on (from our system) as well as what it looks like on our website (using a match being played on Boxing Day). It is very clear there is an option...

Can't see the four leg BYES option. If Loopy had chosen option #9 and four leg byes came off the first ball would you have paid him out or would you have said you chose leg bye not leg byes(no more than one leg bye off the first ball)?Four runs came off the first ball but I'm sure there is always small print somewhere

A Bye or Leg Bye still remains that whether it is 1,2,3,4,5,6....... Byes or Leg Byes.
The fact on the actual number of Byes or Leg Byes is immaterial.

As Kyle has said. The first runs were Leg byes - which was an option - regardless of the amount. The same would apply if the ball went for wides and they ran (or the ball went to the boundary). It is still a wide and that would be the winning market.
