To my recollection, Sentinal won 29 1/2 races, the 1/2 was a dead heat , I stand corrected here, but I think in the Queen's Plate, with In Full Flight. J.Joseph trained for the Ellis's. What a horse.! Went to stud but failed as a stallion.

I had her and her sister after buddy also was the 1st mdn 2 win 100k before winning the sisters name was pumpkin time won 1st time out marcus rode her and if memory serves me rite the pie ran 3rd

Here some other trivia. Did you know the year before 1901, the year 1900 was not a leap year but the year 2000 was. How is that possible ?

If I can remember - even though centuries are divisible by 4 they will not be leap years except for the leap years 2000, 3000, 4000, and so on.

1901 was it 5 Mets in :

SA
USA
AUSTRALIA
ENGLAND
SPAIN...........................................:S

For a turn of the century to be a leap year it has to be divisible by 400. Year 2100 will be the next turn of the century not to be a leap year.

Couldn't be run the previous 5 times, because of the " war " in SA at the time!. So maybe they caught up with the lost races?.....
