See striker won 7 races on a card. I have heard in a tote that he is the only one to have ridden a Pick 6 - would this have been on the very same card?

Al, I think so... I caught the P/A, Pick6 and Jackpot straight lines 10 times each... and collected around R1082 .... this was early 90's. I think the pick six paid R82.00....

2 horses placed in the uk yesterday both second,one over a mile on the flat the other over 2 1/2 miles chase at 13 and 15 years old repectfully.. Any oldies you guys know of?

Bushmanland,noble thatch and shoe shac raced till they were 13yrs old although they were brought back after 5 or 6 years.

I think it was rain forest, who came back in the nineties to win a race after a ten or so years break.Could also be the oldest horse to race in s.a as well.I stand to be corrected.
