I recall Le Garcon D'Or winning a 5F sprint at Musselburgh, aged 13. Jockey was AJ Russell who I think was aged 67 or 68 at the time. Horse started favourite, believe it or not. There is hope for Fair Brutus yet !!!

I think Pirates may be right, but I'm not sure. Didn't William Penn win a race in SA at the age of 11? Was before my time, though...believe it or not.

Thanks magic.. its hard to get into the media side of it, being an aspiring journo and all.. done two articles for Brent and thats about it.. but im young blood, something that seems to be a commodity in this game.
