Good evening, I am sure we are all aware that Magic Lips is the KING when it comes to local racing trivia, thought it might be a good idea to post questions and answers on a dedicated thread, its not just for Magic, if you feel you can contribute with questions or answers please feel free to give it a go.

ok a blast from the past, just had a look at the hall of fame, a couple of my early winners were Mucho Hombre and Breathless, who were the trainers and jockeys?

I would be with Dr Who and go with Garth Puller, but as for Scotia's question, you've got me there! Let me take a wild guess and suggest that a jockey named Houdalakis was involved in there somewhere....!!

Here's one for you. Who was the last person to have ridden a Derby winner ( Epsom Derby) and who weighed out at more than 90 kgs on the day he did so.

mickeyblue, that could be the late Alan Gordon, who went from being an apprentice jockey to a trainer and back to an apprentice jockey again?

It's still a good one, Gajima! Had be completely floored when Scotia asked the question, I don't think even showjumping "Derby" winners weigh that much!
