I am not taking s swipe at jockeys so don't get me wrong but.....
Why don't we have dog racing in this country? There's no jockey to blame and the animal runs... makes much more sense to me... and the fields smaller..

Thank goodness horses are not machines. If they were, racing would be easy and everybody would be winning. If there are winners there have also to be losers .

Two things to consider:
1) In locales where the difference between the outlay for expenses in so different than the prize money available, it lends to an environment where horses are pulled and only allowed to run when the money is on. This took place for years in Ireland, for example, when prize money was really, really paltry.
2) If anybody really believes that the game is crooked, they should do themselves a favor and leave it alone, because it will make them bitter and cause a loss of sanity.

Tich,I appreciate your view, you're entitled to it and I wont argue...but hard held?
IF Bernard did ride HH out to the line she could/would have won further, right?
Ok if she won by say three or four lenghts I would understand, cos thats easy.
The runner-up had a 4kg pull for 1,5 lenghts,I believed that was enough.

Andrew I don't think racing is crooked, however, there are crooked people in racing
I do not need to watch a rerun of that race as i am over it and as I am not a big punter,I NEVER speak from my pocket
I had a few wins on RABADASH @ Turf and your sons horse @Ken,when I saw it go out to10/1 I played a small double
I am sure that if you were on my side of the fence you might look at the whole race differently, after all,i'm just a poor punter:D
Btw I've allways admired you and the whole Capeflatspackage you brought to racing but be carefull not to tell people about speaking out of their pockets...youv've emptied quite a few yourself. lol
And..err,you're wrong! This is a GREAT SITE!

can you name 1 jockey in the country that has not been accused of costing punters money at one time or another?...I know of only 1 that falls into that category but he/she has yet to be born ..

This is the stupid tipic and i agree with andrew fortune it is the cry baby who loose the money and now want to blame some one they must look in the mirror. Savas re, take the look at the computerform and abecrombie you will see slow away now sudenlee it is jockey fault. Johnny re malakka i watch the replay race 5 all i can say is i hope you not driving cars you need the eyes tested the winner win easy your horse has NO CHANCE. This is not the game for babys who can not loose money
