JAP if you use two of the worst possible examples based on so called favoritism you are going to continue to lose money.....an astute punter would for starters never be punting maidens and badly bred ones for starters. Also an astute form follower could never fathom how these horses even got backed is also an enigma . Just Knock was entered in a work riders race FFS what class is that and the Spectrum soupmeat was out for it's 2nd career start. Punters should not be bleeting when short price horses get a beating because they are crap

muhti the horse do not now its breeding so i think you talk crap. the punter can only follow the form and if the form is good it no matter who the daddy and the mommy is. if i ask you to look at a july winner called classic flag, would you punt this to win the race ONLY ON THE BREEDING?
breeding is important i now, but it is not the answer to every winner. finish and klaar

Very true, imo cape racing stinks the most and a lot of jockeys from there say that the top boy there runs his own buisness!

Sorry to have brought pedigree and quality into the equation but on pure form and let.s call it ability those examples listed by JAP were crap regardless how they were bred no collateral form or jockey strike just betting moves. No wonder bookies are flush and punters are bust and they say that this is a thinking man's game.....some don't think at all
