I have chosen the name, fixer,to add my 2 cents to fixing racing in South africa O K , especially wid 2 jockeys, that is, K Nesius & delpech. they could be champions in their own rights. And win 8 of 9 races in one day.But "hook"That one horse that is every punters banker.Because of their experience they could place a horse contrary to instructions.Come from a position where it will virtually be impossible to catch a horse that was allowed to get away. Comment from the commentator is the horse is coming under a ride. this to show the trainer owner & punters that they are trying the race. Do a statistical analysis of how many horses that were in the red ran in the first 3. see for yourself. This is how I see it.my opinion .The stipes must interview the jockeys in every such circumstances even if the horse was ridden on merit. Then they wil know big brother is watching. What happened to Frad in Hong Kong & why Tarry dont take him anymore

Fradd and Tarry may have parted ways but both are doing better apart than together - Maybe they just did not click?

Fixer you should place your contact details at the bottom of your threads ,especially after accusing jocks of hooking horses

tired of people saying why back horses when you think it is crooked. tell people to stop smoking or alcoholics to stop drinking or drug addicts to give up drugs.gambling is a known addiction most of us do not like to admit it and if we all stop there be no industry.so do something proactive instead of leaving all these perceptions hanging out there.

There is NO WAYS that jocks "pull horses"...in my many many years of owning horses I have yet to see evidence of one horse "pulled up"..when I say that some horses can't win even though the fav or have been backed..its because of things like ..going a diff diet..running on a new track 1st time..needing the race..green..etc etc

This is yet another excample of why websites such as this are never going to be taken too seriously.
Anonymity equals irresponsibility.
Hibernia, you have the power to change that.
So until you do, you really are in no position to bitch about it, since you are the ENABLER.

Oscar you deserve more winners from your runners for trying to put a positive spin on this thread, but let's not be too naïve ,some jockeys have, still and will always pull up horses,it is the nature of the game after all its survival is in the main about gambling anfd many of the people earning a living from racing are gamblers, you do the sums.It is an insiders game has been and always will be

Mikesack Fixer and/or GrahamV
Answer me this:- When one considers that the top 2 jocks on the log have earned just short of R1,5m thus far this season with 2 months to go and the 3rd to 10th have earned around 750k could you tell me how much you believe they would earn by pulling up a horse, keeping in mind the consequences they would face if caught...also how many bookmakers could lay sufficient figures on said horse to make payment viable, or do you believe that when a horse goes "soft" in the betting nobody notices??
Would you say that unlike you guys no trainer/owner can see when a horse is given an "easy" or would it be closer to the truth to say that they are more qualified to judge a race/ride than you and see it as it is and not the disney world version of the conspiracy theorist...or maybe they are in it and also get a chop from this unknown bookie??
Vague statements/accusations with no substantial proof ~ like every favorite that gets beat was pulled up and the jock got "bombs' for his/her part in it's demise is not only naive and reckless but the sad truth of the matter is that not even the fools that make the accusations actually believe them to be true, the fact that they continue to punt is proof enough that their rantings are born in their pockets...
If you KNOW of any "graft" and have the proof to back up your claims I would love to hear it .....or is it a case of "everybody says racing is crook so it must be" ?? Wake up guys and smell the same roses that mikesack refers to....or go grab the "free" coffee offered at the Casinos

Casinos offer free coffee?
What about tea?
Something to consider if this is indeed the case.
Why our casinos offer comp rooms, booze, golf, shows, girls and jet plane rides is beyond me, when apparently coffee would do the trick.
Of course if they had to offer tea, that would put this entire discussion in an entirely different light.
Something to consider for sure.
Thanks.
