Yeah Bob but it's fair to say that reading the posts from ziets and Steph there's more going on than just the track conditions. Not going to argue with Titch either but only re iterate that both these people were happy to race on that track. They were there and we are here looking at pics. One would imagine they have some knowledge of the conditions and the dangers to both horse and riders. Just saying.

"Both these people were happy to race on that track"....you don't think they will be bias when it comes to making that decision? Zietsman drives very far and will let his horses swim down that straight if it means getting some stake cheques, and who can blame him.

Following a track inspection this evening with the track manager, in consultation with trainers it was agreed to reconvene a follow up inspection at 4:00am to decide whether the race meeting at Flamingo Park dated 6 February 2017 goes ahead, and you will be advised accordingly. P.S the bus is booked and leaves from Ranjes at 4:00am and then departs from Turffontein at 4:45am unless advised otherwise.

On the other side of the coin a certain trainer who was also there was going to scratch all the stables runners if they decided to go ahead and race today..
I guess it is just a case of different folk having different priorities...

Oh Lord, both Ziets and Steph came out and said they could race not hiding behind you. So please name the trainer who was going to scratch ?
