what is the main function of their employment ?must be the only track in the world that cant handle 20mm of rain they and phumelela should hang their heads in shame and whoever gave the green light for this track to go ahead be shot at dawn..

as looking to the pictures , titch was not far off the horses would have got hurt , i dont know if ziets and steph looked at the same track then what we saw on the photos but jockeys and horses would have got hurt and im 1000% sure off that its not fair to cost one owners horse or trainers horses just for money a life is more important then money , i truly feel that phumelela made the right call and i want to thank phumelela for saving a innocent horse or jockey that might have gotten injured , hopping track can clear up and be better tommorow and we can make some money

Titch, this is not against you, so please don't take it personally or negatively but...

everything you say would carry so much more weight if it actually came from a Phumelela "person of note" who was prepared to discuss/debate etc. The fact is, in my experience, they rarely say anything and on the few occasions I can remember that they have commented on anything, it has reeked of bullsh1t and shirking of blame. That is simply my impression of them.

Defend them all you want to but, why the fark are you "having" to do it? Until they grow a pair and demonstrate that they genuinely want to improve things for all then they will continue to be disliked and not trusted. Dreadful for SA racing as a whole. Just an "international" point of view. If they want to save SA racing for all rather than a few, they need to improve big time. Depending on how you think, that is either in decision making etc and/or just simply image.

So, pretty please mate, give them a ring tomorrow and tell them you are sick of fighting their battles for them, it could potentially do the industry a lot of good if they fought their own battles honestly and openly. Wishful thinking I know... :)

I really like this centre, this is the only course where it looks like the 19th centuary. The authorities really need to revamp the place.

I used to have the same opinion as yours Englander and often wondered why Titch was such a Phumelela apologist. Then I was told that he earns some kind of commission through them via a tote product. I have no idea if this is true or not, but if it is, it explains the brownnosing perfectly.

So when I was critical of the track and how it has gone backwards in comparison to when it was managed properly, people had a lot to say. I see now some newbies attempting to protect Phumelela and suddenly the horses welfare is an excuse. I want you to look at the following and tell me how the most prestigious dirt race in the world could have been run in these conditions, and there was not a single injury reported on the day?

OTA that is a truly laughable statement but typical of your way of thinking...anyone who doesn't bleet and run the industry into the dirt at every opportunity is "brown nosing" the authorities but hell why let the truth get in the way of a good old fashioned gripe...sad OTA very sad..
As for my commission ..Phumelela does not pay me my com..that comes directly from Gav Lerena and has always been the case from day one with which ever jockey I represent.. Not quite sure what "Tote Product" you are referring to..best check that out with your source and let me know, I would like to follow up on it and see if there are payments due that I was unaware of...for a "product" that Im unaware of, but I'm sure between you and the "I was Told" party you can come up with something ...

Titch I am not refering to your agents commission

Tell us if you do, or have, ever had some type of tote agency, or earned commission through phumelela.

OTA I certainly don't have to be careful and I can tell you that the insinuation you are trying to make is once again,(typical of 99.999999% of your posts,) fabricated to suit your point, so the answer to your question is NO, not now and not ever...
What your misguided source is referring to was an online affiliate program that Phum were thinking of going ahead with a few years back but shelved it, I was interested but never got any further due to the FACT of the program being canned.. once again the iota of "Near enough so what the hell" truth in a mountain of crap strategy...
