Ps I see 30 horses have been entered both days

If i do my normal practice of betting each of his runners each way over the two days then i will be making my usual £50-£80 profit.

Please note that following overnight rainfall at Flamingo Park, a decision will be made regarding tomorrow's race meeting dated 5 February at 4:00pm this afternoon after consultation with trainers and track management.

Following a track inspection at Flamingo Park, it has again started raining. There is more rain forecast tonight and this has led to tomorrow's race meeting at Flamingo Park dated 5 February 2017 being abandoned. A decision will be taken regarding the meeting on Monday the 6th of February 2017 tomorrow afternoon.

So the bus incident still cost the connections the meeting and and those horses of Ziets have gone there 2x for nothing!
I take it the responsible party got promoted!...

Mondays meeting should have been postponed to Tuesday and the operators should have taken the knock for screwing things up in the first place. I can't see how much extra revenue can be gained by having Flamingo on a Sunday and in the bigger picture over a year it would have made no difference.

I am no fan of Flamingo but I do feel most of the problems created in the centre are due to Phumelela's NON management.

Now lets put the facts, after we all agreed at 4pm that racing should still go on tomorrow , then it only started a very light drizzle (mist rain) for maybe 30minutes and stopped. I dont think it was even 1mm. Nothing more. I honestly dont know how they could abandoned because of that!!!!!! They must pray it rains tonight to justify this UNEXPECTED early call to just cancel.
Yes, they just broke the most passionate person in horseracing spirit, racing will never be the same. Time to rethink if this incompetent and spineless treatment is worth it.
