Wow I've also had top service from "Lorraine" she always seems to add in the word "dear" somwhere - really nice lady. I've had some operators that give me a balance of say R10 and I know I've got 1k in the account and you find out they have opened up some other account using your code!! That means they have not LISTENED to your account no or CODE or even looked at the screen

This will all change with a single well operated professionally run setup with a single call centre.......in the new year we will have one race card for all centres coming out twice a week for R10.00....

Heres a suggetion - forget fancy machines, faulty cashiers that cant get your bet on correctly. Setup an adsl line with multiple computers - let the punter punch his/her bet into this computer. No one to blame if he cocks it up.

ABSA has hardy computers with steel keyboards in every branch specifically for public internet banking use. Computers are locked onto the ABSA site. Perhaps create a simplistic web based site specifically for the purpose of betting. Cashiers can still be there for depsoits and withdrawals and to help the undereducated initially.

Kills one of the service issues.
